Our Vineyards
Not by chance, our soil is the undisputed protagonist of our label: the elegant layers of the typical white marl of Treiso guarantee quality and refinement in our wines, and therefore deserved a place of honor on our bottles.The company covers 19 hectares in a single block, of which 9 are planted with vines. Our vineyards mainly face south and southwest for the red grape varieties Nebbiolo and Barbera; for the Riesling vineyard, however, the exposure is to the north.
Depending on the seasons, we practice cover cropping where necessary. We do not use manure as we believe in the necessity for the vines to grow deep roots. During the rainy season, we minimize treatments, both in frequency and in the quantity of copper and sulfur used. We aim to keep our treatments at least 50% lower than the legal limits for organic certification.
RESPECT FOR THE SOIL
Our soil is our most important resource, and from the very beginning, its protection has been one of our main objectives. Cover cropping and the practice of green manuring allow the soil to absorb more water during the rainy season while simultaneously combating the small erosions that occur in steep vineyards. We practice mechanical weeding, as we believe it is the right choice.

LOVE FOR THE EARTH
From the very beginning of our story, it has been clear to us how the territory we are in represents a perfect example of balance between hills, vineyards, and woods; our passion for the Langhe land has guided us in the recovery of old vineyards through sustainable viticulture: we want our vineyards to be lush gardens, and for this reason, we respect their ecosystem, minimizing human intervention and maintaining that balance that allows the vines to grow strong and flourishing.
We have sought to give an ecological and sustainable imprint to all the activities of our company: for our wines, we use the Albeisa Leggera bottle to help reduce the impact of CO2 produced; we heat water using solar panels distributed across the entire roof surface; during the renovation of the building, we insulated all rooms with fixtures to reduce consumption and achieve good energy efficiency. Within the agriturismo, with specific recommendations, we guide guests towards conscious behavior regarding the limitation of waste of electricity, water, and linen changes. This is the path we have chosen, in which we believe and to which we commit ourselves every day!
